Melatonin is an endogenous hormone produced by the pineal gland that regulates sleep-wake cycles and when provided exogenously has beneficial effects on sleep-onset latency.

| PREGNANCY AND LACTATION: |
Melatonin tablets are not recommended during pregnancy or in women of childbearing potential not using contraception.

| STORAGE AND HANDLING: |
Keep the medication stored at normal room temperature and out of reach of children and pets. Dispose unused medications and expired medications properly to avoid adverse effects.
|
| INDICATIONS: |
- Short-term treatment of jet-lag in adults.
- Trouble falling asleep at a conventional bedtime (delayed sleep phase syndrome)
- Adjust sleep cycles in the blind
- To treat shift-work sleep disorders in people with alternating work schedules
- Tinnitus

| CONTRAINDICATIONS : |
- Known hypersensitivity to Melatonin or any other components of the formulation.
|
| DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION: |
Route of Administration: Oral
The dose must be as directed by the physician. It is recommended that food is not consumed approximately 2 h before and 2 h after intake of melatonin.
It’s not advised to give your child melatonin unless instructed by your doctor.
